RepuScore, developed by Reputation X and trademarked in 2014, is like a credit score for your online reputation, offering a numerical value between 1 and 100 that reflects the quality of a subject’s digital presence. A higher RepuScore can lead to better business opportunities for brands or improved career and life prospects for individuals. Unlike credit scores, which can be directly managed, a RepuScore reflects both personal character and the opinions—real or manufactured—of others in the online space, where reputations are more vulnerable to external influence.

RepuScore’s unique algorithm evaluates key factors such as search result volatility, visibility, control, and sentiment to objectively measure the online reputation of brands, people, and products. It draws from user-generated content, external sources, and internal analytics to calculate an accurate score.
