Start by confirming whether Google already recognizes you — and what it thinks you are. Query the Knowledge Graph Search API for your brand name; if a result and a Q-ID exist, note whether the entity type is correct. Google is explicit that the API is read-only and “not suitable for use as a production-critical service,” so use it as a diagnostic, not a dashboard. Wikipedia articles are editorially controlled by volunteer editors, which means the narrative — including any negative framing — is not yours to set, and a page can become a liability as easily as an asset.
